Hotels' Facilities Among the Biggest in Europe

Constantinou Bros Hotels is proud to be hosting the Atlantic Championship Bowling Event taking place from 30th November 2015-13th December 2015. This event is expected to attract approximately 500 people from all over the world including the participants (40 teams of 5 people) accompanied by their managers, coaches, family and supporters.

The facilities lie between Athena Beach and Athena Royal Hotel and are considered one of the biggest bowling facilities in Europe, attracting numerous visitors yearly.

The Atlantic Championships are one of two qualifying events for the World Championships to be held in New Zealand in 2106 and teams from 23 nations in Europe, South America, Africa and Middle East will be participating.

Constantinou Bros Hotels’ notable experience in hospitality and organizational skills has earned them a strong reputation in the bowling community. The well-kept bowling fields, the high quality accommodation, and the location of the sea front hotels, are all factors contributing to the selection of the hotels. Having in mind the needs of their clients and the fact that the event might also be attended by non-bowlers, the hotels have the facilities to cater for all, be it the Spas or the dancing rooms as well as a selection in accommodation between two hotels; the Athena Beach and Athena Royal Hotel.

Previous bowling events that were successfully hosted by the hotels, were the Sixth European Bowls Championships in 2007, the Seventh European Team Bowls Championship in 2009 , the Atlantic Championships in 2011 and the World Bowls Champion of Champions in October 2012. Such events and the associated publicity are beneficial for Cyprus and especially Paphos enhancing the reputation of our island and our town as a major destination for bowling tourism.
